Notion integration for usedocs

Many SaaS teams start their docs in Notion. It is great for writing, less so for a public help center that stays current. The Notion integration moves the content over without retyping it.

Short answer

The usedocs Notion integration imports the pages under a Notion page you choose as help center drafts, so you can review and publish them with a docs layout, a custom domain, and an assistant that cites them. Drafts can also be published back to Notion.

Overview

Connect Notion with Notion sign-in or an integration token, choose the parent page to import from, and usedocs brings its child pages in as drafts. Review them, organize them into collections, and publish. From there the two loops keep the help center accurate: merged pull requests propose edits, and questions customers ask that the docs could not answer become drafted articles. If your team prefers to keep writing in Notion, drafted articles can be published to a Notion parent page instead.

What this integration does

Import as drafts

Child pages of the page you choose arrive as drafts to review before anything goes live.

Publish back to Notion

Send drafted articles to a Notion parent page if your team writes there.

Sign-in or token

Connect with Notion sign-in, or paste an integration token.

Then keep it current

Edits from merged PRs and drafts from customer questions keep imported articles accurate.

Limits and plan notes

  • Only pages shared with the integration are visible.
  • Very large databases import slowly; page based docs work best.
  • Imports are drafts; nothing goes live without approval.
  • Do not import internal pages into a public help center.

Not for you if

Skip this if your docs already live on a docs site; import from its URL instead. Also skip it for internal wikis that should never be public.
